The Bunny Bungalow – Terms and Conditions of Business

Welcome to The Bunny Bungalow! We are delighted to provide quality boarding and grooming services for your beloved rabbits. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they govern your use of our services.
- Acceptance of Terms
By booking a service with The Bunny Bungalow, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
- Boarding Services
- The boarding period begins and ends on the dates specified by the Owner. If the Owner fails to pick up the rabbit by the agreed-upon date and time, additional charges will apply. Rabbits not picked up within 5 days (unless otherwise communicated) after the end of the boarding period will be considered abandoned, and the Service Provider reserves the right to surrender the rabbit to the SPCA Tampa Bay.
- The Service Provider will provide hay, various rabbit pellets, litter, greens, water, shelter, and exercise to the rabbit during the boarding period. The Owner must provide any specific food, bedding, or toys that the rabbit requires.
- All pets must be in good health and free from contagious diseases. A current health certificate from a licensed veterinarian may be required.
- Owners must provide accurate information regarding their rabbit’s dietary needs, medical conditions, and behavioral traits.
- The Bunny Bungalow is not responsible for any pre-existing medical conditions or unforeseen health issues that may arise during boarding.
- While we strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment, The Bunny Bungalow is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or accidental death that may occur despite reasonable care.
- Boarding fees are charged per night and must be booked via our web site.
- Grooming Services
- The Bunny Bungalow will perform grooming services in a safe and humane manner, taking into account the rabbit’s comfort and well-being. However, the Owner understands that grooming can be stressful for some rabbits and may result in minor cuts, nicks, or stress-related issues.
- Matting and Tangling: In cases where the rabbit’s fur is heavily matted or pelted, the Service Provider will need to shave the fur or perform additional grooming services. The Owner acknowledges that such procedures may alter the rabbit’s appearance and that there is a risk of skin irritation. Depending on the severity, this may result in extra cost and time needed to complete the groom. On occasion, more than one visit may be necessary to complete the groom. While every precaution is used to avoid nicking or cutting the rabbit, we are not liable for any potential vet expenses when rabbits are brought to us in this condition.
- Aggressive Behavior: If a rabbit displays aggressive behavior that poses a risk to itself or the groomer, the Bunny Bungalow reserves the right to discontinue the grooming session. The Owner is responsible for the full cost of the service, regardless of completion. A follow up appointment may be offered to complete the groom.
- We require all rabbits to be up to date on vaccinations before any grooming service. Owners must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or sensitivities their rabbit may have.
- Whilst we will take all necessary precautions, The Bunny Bungalow is not responsible for stress-related reactions, allergic reactions, or minor injuries that may occur during grooming.
- Grooming services must be booked via our web site.
- Health and Safety Policy
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any rabbit that appears to be ill, aggressive, or otherwise unfit for boarding or grooming.
- In the event of a medical emergency, we will attempt to contact the rabbit owner immediately. If the owner cannot be reached, we will seek veterinary care at our discretion, and the owner will be responsible for all related costs.
- Owners must provide emergency contact information at the time of booking.
- Payment and Cancellation Policy
- Payment for grooming services is due at the time of service.
- Payment for boarding services is due at the time of pick-up, unless otherwise arranged.
- A deposit may be required for booking.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service. Failure to provide timely notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- A late fee of $10 will be applied for any pick-ups 30 minutes after the agreed-upon time.
- No refunds will be given for early pick-up of pets from boarding services.
- Liability Waiver
- The Bunny Bungalow is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of any personal items left with pets.
- Owners accept full responsibility for any damage their rabbit may cause to the facility, staff, or other animals during their stay.
- By using our services, owners waive any claims against The Bunny Bungalow, its employees, or affiliates for injuries, illnesses, or other damages incurred during boarding or grooming.
- The Bunny Bungalow is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or stress-related conditions that may occur during or after grooming or boarding services, including conditions that are a result of pre-existing issues or the rabbit’s own behavior.
- Marketing Consent
- By using our services, you consent to The Bunny Bungalow taking photos or videos of your pet for promotional and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing. If you do not wish to provide consent, you must notify the Bunny Bungalow in writing.
- By using our services, or contacting the Bunny Bungalow via text massage, you agree to receive SMS text messages from the Bunny Bungalow. You also understand that Message frequency may vary and that message / data rates may apply. You can opt-out of SMS text communications by replying STOP.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Florida and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
